a click..
i have a 00 v10 crew cab 4x4 auto. when i drive up my drive way or sometimes flat land and change directions ie forward to reverse, and press the gas i hear a click from under the truck not sure if it is front or rear. anyone heard of this?

i put the dynatrac kit on the front a month ago, new u joints on the front. also new sway bar bushings, anyway, it is a single click and it seems to be in the center/rear, i did somewhat look at the u joints on the rear drive shaft but they appeared fine

Is this right after shifting from reverse to forward??? I'm wondering if it is just the shift paw(park/release) within the tranny just clicking.Did you grease your splines on the drive shaft
front and rear?

dynatrac is awesome and the best part about it was the awesome service. no the noise has more to do with puting load on the drivetrain. i can shift from drive to reverse and it does not make the noise but as soon as i accel it clicks. the noise is pretty loud. i am thinging u joints. what is the best way to check them?

if it is a click it is probably u-joints but if it is a clunk it is the splines on your driveshaft either way you will have to pull the u-joints just take out the 8 bolts holding it together just be sure you mark everything so it goes in exactly the same way because it is all balanced. my 2000 diesel had a clunk when i accelerated or came to a stop and all i had to do was grease the splines on the driveshaft
