Brakes

My brakes were spongy so i adjusted them. They pump up just fine and as soon as the truck is started the go right to the floor. You can here the rear brakes working when the truck is not running but during travel only the fronts seem to be stopping the truck. Just replaced the master cylinder and have the same results.
Not sure what to do. NEED ADVICE.
Thank you in advance...
Paul

Bleed bleed bleed both the wheel brakes and the master cylinder.

if you have rear drums check the slave cylinders, make sure they aren't leaking.

re:brakes

I readjusted the brakes and it seems that once in a while the rear brakes will engage out of the blue. I slammed onn the brakes and when the ABS kicked in the rear brakes seemed to work every time.

I really don't know what to do now!!

When you bleed, start at the wheel furthest from the master cylinder and work closer. Could also be the distribution block that splits the one line of fluid into the four that goes to the wheels.
