supercab transfer crossmember problems help!

I have a 1978 f150 supercab 4x4 that I just purchased. It was in multiple cardboard boxes. Since it is a supercab it has front and rear leafs. My problem is the cross member for the transfer case is not the right one I think. The brackets I have will not bolt from the crossmber to the bottom of the frame rail. If any one could send me a picture of a f150 or f250 4x4 supercab crossmember It would be a great help. Thank you allan

Please help need pictures of f150 supercab transmittion crossmember.

I can take some, but this is the only website I go to, that I don't know how to post them on. Looking at your pic, I can tell you that does look like the correct crossmember. What issue(s) are you having? Wrong angles? No holes lining up? Not all of them lining up?

I'll have some pics in the afternoon, if I can figure out how to post them.

click go advanced then click manage files or do what i did go to photobucket.com and use them to host it its free then copy the link and paste it here.

Ok, I think I have the picture thing now. I took pictures of the left side, on the rear side of the crossmember. I just got this truck not too long ago, so it's ugly under there.
