63 tranny ID

I also posted this on the transmission page, I'll try here too.

What transmission do I have? 63 F100 223ci. 3sp manual on column. syncronized, (owner's manual says 63 was first yr. for this) Tag on the transmission has "HEFF"

I keep having a hard time at parts stores narrowing down exactly what I have.
thanks for any & all help.

Thanks! It must be the standard light duty because 1st is synchro & has top cover. Now I have to try to locate some needle bearings for it.

Thanks for the info!

You can all the bearing thru any good parts store. These tranny parts were used in the late 40's up thru the mid 70's. CarQuest or NAPA can get them easily.
