Engine dieing

This one has me baffled, along with several shop mechanics. My 98 windstar's engine dies when I turn on the turn signals. Any ideas?

A bad ground somewhere. Look over at the negative battery cable and see if you have any little wires coming off of it. Follow these around and see if they are in good shape. You may also want to run your own ground wire from the engine block to the sheetmetal to see if it cures the problem.
