Tips on intake manifold removal???
Hi all - I'm in the process of putting new gaskets on the top part of my 2.8L engine. I'm really stuck at the intake manifold. I've removed the carburetor, the EGR spacer, and everything else attached, and have removed the intake manifold bolts. Now, I can't get the thing to budge. The manual I'm referencing says to tap lightly with a rubber mallet, but this doesn't seem to help. Any thoughts on where I should hit the thing or where to try to pry it out? Or, is there is anything I can spray on it to loosen it up? thanks!
