smog stuff air pump etc.
I have taken a 1979 351W from a Grand Marquis and am putting it in my 56F100. I just want to get it running the way it was in the car for starters but am looking for info on what I need to do to remove the smog stuff.
For example: Can I just remove the air pump, related hoses, EGR valve and block off the EGR valve on the intake manifold? The engine is stock, 2BBL and had the catalytic converter etc. on it.
I am just wanting to simplify the engine as much as possible and not have any unnecessary hoses etc. on the engine.
Any help is appreciated.
