I initially posted under the title "fuel pump question" but have since changed my mind. After reading several posts on a no start condition, I thought it might be a bad CPS, but when I hooked up my scan tool, all I get is "fail". I can not find any blown fuses under the dash or in the box on the driver fender. How can I trace the power supply to the computer?

I would like to know if the computer is getting power because the "fail" message from the scan tool indicates that it isn't. Is there a link to the electrical diagrams that someone knows about?
The scanner works on the other Fords I have used it on, other makes as well. The only time I have seen this message before was when the power supply to the computer was undone on other vehicles. However, the cel on this paticular truck has never come on except for bulb check.
