i was looking on ebay, and i came across this. it is from SP diesel performance. i am thinking i am going to get it, it sounds like a REALLY smart device. plug and play, it uses the cruise control's buttons as a vehicle for the switches. no on/off switch on the dash.
the auction number is 8013666935 ... i cant post the link, as it will take me to MotorHaven. what do you think? i know it is expensive, but to me, it seems that you can set the speed that the TC locks up, and once you get below that, it will automatically unlock the TC.
Looked at. I'm not sure I want to try and guess how many times I pressed the what button.. A switch on the dash with indication seems alot easier to use. Just mine.

i know what you mean... but it does sound like a good idea... set a speed that the tc locks and a speed that it unlocks...
I like the ability to lock the T/C when ever I need to because not all situations are the same. Also, locking the T/C at too low of a RPM may damage your tranny due to the low line pressure. Be carefull.
