Front Springs

When you guys and gals are talking about the spring codes what is the X equal to in weight. I looked at the forum for deciphering your vin and the top of the list and it had springs listed all the way to 6000 for the front end. On the door jamb label I am listed at 5200 lbs. Is this what you are referencing and what if anything would 6000 lb springs do for me.

I have 2000 F350 CC 4x4 PSD and the front end is about 2-2.5 inches low. I will be leveling it up soon.

I believe "X" code springs are used in Plow packages and are the 6000lb springs you refer to.

What they will do it more than likely raise the front of your truck a couple of inches.
