8.8 ifs locker

8.8 ifs locker
I have been searching non stop for the last couple of days trying to find the answer, and nobody seems to know.
Will a locker for a 8.8 28 spline rearend work in a 28 spline 8.8 ifs?
I have called 2 local offroad shops. 1 says that they talked to eaton and eaton just says that they don't offer a locker for this app. The second place called somebody and they said it will work fine.
I called randys ring and pinion and they said it will work.
If you go tractechs website they say that the detroit locker is not available for the ifs. However all of the online shops that I have been to, they all show the 8.8 28 spl. rear detroit locker as the part number for the 8.8 ifs. ????
Arb's air locker both have the same part number between the 8.8 front and rear.
Does anybody know if it will work?
I've gotten 10 different answers in the last 3 days and it's driving me nuts.
I'm actually looking at the Eaton elocker. On eatons website, they say that they offer the elocker for 28spline front and rear axles, but they say on the phone that they dont' offer one for the 8.8 ifs.????
