have not scanned system yet, but since here in the pacific northwest it has been getting into the 20's at night, this problem happens in the morning when the engine has been resting.
start the truck, the check engine light goes on, lacks power, then give A LITTLE gas, and for about 15 seconds, the engine takes off and idles where it is supposed to be...i am baffled...
new IAC and new dist., new plugs/wire...
new ETC sensor...
is there a module of somesort that senses cold air that is broken?
I had the exact same problem last winter. I checked the code and it had something to do with my EGR valve. I cleaned it up and tuned it up and the problem went away. It needed the tune up in a big way.
