hood lock cable and handle assembly
Does anyone know where I could get one of these cables? I already tried Lmc, autokrafters, dennis carpenter, and obsolete ford parts. Lmc and autokrafters told me it was obsolete. I also tried autokrafters used parts junkyard thing and they didnt have one.

Do you just need the cable or the locking handle & special hood latch too?

Obsolete Ford Parts, Inc. has them in their catalog their # is(405)634 6817 they are out of OK. Not to be confused with obsolete out of GA. If your looking for the whole thing; handle , cable and latch at hood its gonna get a little pricey. around $200 I think. I got mine, the whole deal frome a bone yard in MI for $25 and paid the lock smith $25 to make me a key.

Don't forget to keep an eye on e-bay & other online auctions. I've seen a couple in the last 6 months. Prices seemed reasonable compared to NOS.
