But 16ft shouldn't be any issue. What is the weight, loaded? That is the big question.

Thread moved to 97-2003 F-150 forum. That light duty F-250 is the same as a F-150 7700 series.
That sounds like a great deal. Low miles and in great shape. For that kind of towing you will need to make sure it has the 5.4l Triton v-8 which I am sure it has and a class III, IV or V Towing receiver which it should all ready have that tow package equiped. Bonuses would be 4x4, Auto Trans and XLT package will be nice to have also on it. Let us know if it does and if you go with it. Also is it a regular cab or a Extended cab and what is the length of the box? Some of the plans you have you may need to do some mods like stiffining up the suspension and stronger tires. And keep it well tuned and maintained.
