Skyjacker 3" vs. 6"

Does anyone have any opinions on weather a person should go with a 3" or 6" lift? Is there a better ride with one or the other? Any pics would also be nice.

both come with new coilovers.. so ride quality should be very similar. Just depends on how much you want to spend and how big of tires... i think the Skyjacker 6 is a sweeeet kit

Just my opinion but why not go with the fabtech 6" over the skyjacker??? I believe Fabtech kits are superior and their specialty is coil over suspensions. I manage a spring shop and install lift kits and have never had a problem with fabtech and when you have a rcd or fabtech kit people take notice. Believe it or not the skyjacker kit actually costs more and everyone and their mother has a skyjacker or superlift kit. I'm actually putting a fabtech kit on mine next week so if you want to wait for a bit I'll send you pics of it. It's a 04 SuperCrew FX4

I would go 3". There is really no need to be that far off the ground, your just moving your center of gravity up without any benefit. IMO. I guess it depends on what you drive on. If you never spend any time on the highway and are always going down roads with 2 foot tall boulders you have to climb over go with the 6.

I just put 6" fabtech on my 05 screw.
I like it a lot and was impressed by the way it feels/handles. Barely a difference from stock. Pics in my gallery

Thanks, heavier than stock I suppose but you can quickly adjust. For the most part I'm driving the same as I did before the lift. Slowing down a bit more on tight turns.
