Wheel Size and Lug Nut Pattern?
What is the correct way to measure the lug nut studs (or wheel) to determine the correct lug nut size\pattern.
I thought I had 5 on 5.5, and thought I knew how but need to be sur before I buy new rims.
Is it center to center across two studs, or far edge to center across two studs?

It's the diameter of the circle through the centers of the studs. But that's hard to measure on a five bolt wheel. A very close approximate measurement on a five bolt wheel is from the outside of one stud to the center of one of the studs nearly opposite.

To get the diameter on a five bolt wheel, measure from the center of the wheel (or hub if you are measing to figure out what size wheel you need) to the center of one of the sutds. This gives you the bolt circle radius. Multiply that by two to get the diameter. Piece of cake.
