tow command system
I have a 05 f350 4x4, diesel with the tow command system. When I am pulling my trailer about 2500 pounds with equipment about 5000 pounds I am getting a tone or beeping. It does not tell me to check trailer and the braking works fine, I have checked the connection and it is also ok. Anyone else have or know whats going on ? thanks

Do you have the reverse parking sensors? If so, you need to disable it using the big "P" button near the 4WD control. Depending on the trailer, you may notice the beeping getting faster/going solid tone when in a corner, as one edge of the trailer is getting closer to the bumper.

I had that problem and found that if you watch closely when it makes the beeping sound that the trailer disconnected sign flashes quickly on the brake controller.
I inspected my plug on the trailer and found a few loose wires. Bought a new plug b/c the old one was beat up and haven't had a problem since.
