FE headers in a 79

FE headers in a 79
Any one know of any headers for an FE engne that will go in a 79
F-250 4X4 wich has a maried tranfer case causing the front drive line to interfer with the heders. my best bet is over the frame headers if they make such a thing?

I just did what your talking about. I got a pair at a swap meet that were new in the box. Flowtech is the brand, owned by Holley. They fit but it took some banging. The passenger side fits good, no real interference with anything. The driver sides another story. They curved in too far and touched the block at the oil pan joint, some prying and denting in the tubes got some clearance there. The other spot is the driveshaft like you say. They hang way down and my trackbar bushings were loose so the front end would shift over and touch. I just put in new bushings last night so I can't confirm that it helped or hurt yet. you wouldn't need to worry about that on an F250. My only other comment on them is they seem really cheap, but thats what I paid for. The flanges don't meet flat on the head so I need to get some thicker or copper gaskets. I also put mine in at the same time as the engine so I don't know how easy they would go in as an add-on.

Yeah I dont have my body on yet so working on it isnt a prob but the with headmans I had ther was just know way i even tryed puting 4 inches of suspention lift to see if it would give me a enugh clearence. i am hoping that block hugers or the misterios over the frame headers will cure my problem.
