92+ Tail Lights in 89

I am painting my 89 F150 and want to put the less expensive and slightly better looking taillights from the 92+ f150s in it. I don't see why this wouldnt fit, as the pickup box and wiring should be the same. Has anyone tried this before I order these?

It will fit just fine. I did the reverse while I was painting my bed. I put the older taillights on the newer bed.
