Rhoades Lifters

Anyone use Rhoades lifters? Are you happy? I am thinking about trying these on a short Comp Camshaft FFX 4256H-11. I plan to use stock D3VE's and KB 206 pistons with 15cc dish. CR should be 9-1. I will correct the camshaft timing to "straight up" and use the comp cams recommended springs. Stock rockers and pushrods. The rest of this engine is all Ford and not fooled around with. Any comments for or aganst are appreciated.

Only built one engine with them in it, after 2000 miles the guy wanted them back out, and regular lifters installed. Can't say they were bad but they were noisy as heck at idle.

...noisy how? Just a really loud lifter tick? Is it noisy to the point it would be louder than a 2 chamber flowmaster dual exhaust?

Noisy as in sounds like all the lifters are loose at idle, and lets see noisy enough you could hear them over open headers is that noisy enough for you.

They (Rhoades) say they sound like a solid lifter. I have never heard them myself. So The Monster knows LOL
