alrighty i got a question for yall im thinkin bout cuttin off 1 maby both of my cats n i dont want to mess anything up and i know ford wouldnt put 2 of em on the truck if it wernt for a reason anybody know what that reason is or whatt will happen if i cut them off or y they put 2 of them on ive herd that they are extremly restrictive on the fords n i have an 88 bronco with a 302 v8 auto

If it's a V8 it should have 3, not 2, right? (2 up near the engine and one where the Y-pipe comes together?) Anyway the 2 up near the engine are supposed to heat up first and start cleaning up the exhaust until the big one gets warmed up and starts working.

got a 96 f-150 with a 351, removed both my cats and had a huge jump in MPG went from 440 to 560 out of both tanks. but havent had any probloms except a better sounding truck and better MPG.
