Reverse Sensing system

Anyone install an aftermarket one? I see EchoMaster has one. I'm not thrilled with drilling holes in my bumper. But I see they have an optional bracket so I think I could mount it just below.

But basically, my SCREW is so tall, I get concerned about backing over someone. Anyone shorter near the tailgate, and I can't see them.

I'm just curious if anyone has installed a system and hear if they are satisfied with it.

What is it suppose to do actually stop the truck or just give you a alarm that something is back there? could come in quite handy.

Geno's Garage offers a system that has a bracket mount.

Lance, it's basically what comes optional on the new trucks. A few sensors out back. It starts beeping when something is back there.

I'll Google up Geno's and see what I can find SuperBlue. Thanks.

The closer you get, the faster it beeps. If you learn the sounds, it is great for backing up to a trailer to hook it to the truck.

Yeah, looking at EchoMaster's site, something like 5 feet or so, it'll do a slow beep. At 3 feet it'll be faster. And at 18 inches, the tone will go solid. That would be nice for when you get out of parking lots. I can't see some of those imports over the tailgate.

I also see that they do sell an optional bracket so you don't have to put the sensors in the bumper. You could tuck it below. I'm thinking roughly where the stock hitch bar is.

I still haven't seen pricing though. Been too busy with work to look harder. That and I wouldn't be installing it until spring. Getting too dang cold up here in ND to think bout outside projects...

that would be great for tight spots out in the off roading world. Hit a few back bumpers in my time.
