Were heading into winter again and just wondering if anybody has a solution to turning off the timer modual on a 04 Lariat screw, it only allows the seats to heat for 10 minutes (I need hours). I have a bad back and the heat realy helps.
10 minutes is perfect for me. That's just long enough for me to get the chill off the seat. Of course I live in South Alabama where the average temp is like 75.
Marine, little advice on heat (I'm a healthcare provider), is that heat actually works best if done in 10-12 minute increments with 30-45 minute breaks in between. Too much heat causes blood vessels to increase in diameter for too long and can lead to swelling. This will be felt much later after the heat is removed, sometimes not even until the next day. It would be better to run the heat for 10 minutes at a pop and to take more frequent breaks out of the truck, if that's possible. Just a tip.
