Which Fe Do I Have???
How can I determine which fe engine is in my truck? I was told it was a 390.

if you're convinced it is the original engine, then the VIN will tell you. Otherwsie, you gotta measure the stroke or ID the crank.

the chances are pretty slim you got a block with a bore other than 4.05... JMO

Unless it's a 65-67 truck..... Once the stroke of the crank is identified, then you can pretty much fill in the blanks from there. You will have two choices, a 352/360 (that's were the bore dimension comes in) or a 390.
