small trailer
I own a small lawn care buisness and regularly (just about every day ove the summer) pull a 5x10 trailer loaded with a lawnmower, gas, oush mowers, weadeaters, etc. I have decided to get a new truck but am debating about what size and whether I should get 4wd or 2wd. My problem is that the rest of the year, I don't pull stuff all that often and I still want good gas mileage. Let me know what you think. Thanks

For a business and for gas mileage, if performance is not an issue, a 2.3L manual shift Ranger with A/C, reg. cab. I know a few people with this set up and they are very happy with reliablity and gas mileage. One is a personal vehicle and the other is a grass cutting business. I bet the trailer is within the pulling range of even the 2.3L. They get good gas mileage.
Otherwise, if you are going 4x4, just get the F-150.
