Steering Column
I am in search for a new steering column for my 78 f-150. Most of it is my darn fault for using my steering wheel to get into my truck. I'm 5'10, but it's 7 feet to the top of my running lights. Stupid me, I've got bar handles on the side of my door, but now I'm paying for it.
Also, the twit that priorly owned my truck, put in some horn button (ugly plastic universal thing), and tightened the column shifter with a metal flap and a nut. So, my gear shifter has a lot of play.
Anyways, anybody know where to get a new steering column? I looked in JC Whitney, and didn't seem to find one. I've got their Ford truck editions.
Any advise would be appreciated.
