I have a 2004 F150 SuperCrew FX4 and I am trying to get it reflashed at the dealership but they wont do it. I have to rough idle and slow throtle response. What do I do?? Anyone have a TSB # from canada for this problem??

 

I had the reflash done on my truck today. The service number was 050515. Does this number look farmilar to anyone??? How much of a difference did people notice when they had the reflash? Please post the changes it made to your truck. Thanks

 

Find another dealer who will do it. It makes a huge difference in throttle response and it shifts much better. Can't tell if I actually gained more power, but it feels like a new truck. Expect your gas mileage to dip though.

 

the # dont ring a bell i'm to lazy to walk to the truck lol. i gained alot of rpm. i was only turning around 1800rpm at 75 with no throttle response now i'm turning about 2000 and if i jab the throttle about half way the truck comes to live and bury that tac hand in 5000rpms fast even though it slapped back down to 4200rpm but its like two different trucks. i think it was the jan.18th reflash.

 

I just purchased a left over 2005. When was the last flash release for an 05?I would love a huge difference in throttle response and better shifting without dumping $300.
