Erratic guages
Hi all, having a problem with my 02 F250 gauges, They have started bouncing back and forth intermittently.
They don't do it all the time, it seems only after driving a while (apporx 1 hr). At first it wasn't all of them, it was the spedo/odo and the
Oil/water (2 small on the left) This past weekend those 4 just stopped, and the remaining 2 started doing it. The truck sat a while and they were
Fine again (for a while), started again during my drive home. I would say it has to be an electrical issue, I really don't want to take it to Ford for 4 hours

Sounds like a possible bad solder joint on the clusters circuit board. It may ge getting hot from resistance and separating. Check the battery and alternator just for kicks. Low voltage will cause erratic gauges too.
