Fuel Filter Assy

Ok fuel is gushing out from under the FFA. Has anyone had this problem before, and if so how do you remove the FFA?

Thanks in advance

I just went thru this two or three weeks ago. You can fix with J B Weld. Let it cure the 12-15 hours per directions before putting it back together. My truck is running fine now.

Definitely try to patch it first. A replacement bowl is in the "stupid expensive" catagory.

well, I was going to try that, but I started to chip my 1/8" hole and it was corroded and it turned into an 1/2" hole. Has anyone taken the black plastic tube from the bowl, I bought an crow's feet wrench but wasn't able to. Tomorrow I'll be looking for a replacement bowl. The stealership want $400 for it. Too rich for my taste. If anyone know where to get one for a reasonable price please let me know.

Thanks

I just worked on mine last weekend. The black plastic tube is a left handed thread so turn it lke you would tightening a normal bolt. Good luck
