On the 79 F350, the rear right wheel is leaking brake fluid. I looked at the back, and there is a very slow leak of brake fluid that comes out at the lower hole that resemble the shape of a banana.
I've never seen this before. What could it be? I looked in the Haynes' manual, but nothing to help me with. I also never did a drum job, and this is one big drum!
Best to 'shotgun blast' rear brakes.Count on turning drums,new wheel cylinders,shoes,seals,any necessary bearings.Hardware too if still original.I did this 2+ years ago still good.Got tired of pulling those big heavy hubs/wheels.Axle seals start leaking; then wheel cylinders go from the grease. Brian
