MPG's are down, here is why...
My 92 F150 received alot of attention in the last couple years, and I have it running pretty good, new 4.9L engine, no codes, runs smooth, and I was getting 14 MPG while running the truck as a daily driver, with no loads. Thanks especially to FTE 
Recently, I am getting 12 MPG, the truck is still running well, and I'm not driving differently. The difference is surely because I switched jobs, my new job is 9 miles from home, my old job was 24 miles away, although I am driving less miles every week and saving on fuel, the short commute has definitely hurt my performance.
I believe that the truck has lost the two MPG simply because the truck is just getting warmed up as I finish my 9 mile trip. So if you are wondering why you can't get those precious extra 2 or 3 miles from a gallon of fuel, it might be due to short drives and cool downs between trips.
