did they come in 3/4 ton models or just 1/2 ton?

how rare are they?

they did make step side 3/4 ton trucks, but the box was an 8 foot step side(BTW,ford calls them flareside)they were not short box or less than 133" wheel base.at least back in the 67 -79 era.lots of guys swap in 3/4 ton diffs,or some shorten the frames to fit short boxs on them though.its common knowledge that ford 1/2 ton 4x4s are coil sprung in the front (except supercabs),and 3/4 and 1 tons are leaf sprung in the front.if the vin # starts out -f25,or f26,it started out as a 3/4 ton,if it starts out f10,or f15 it started out a 1/2 ton, as far as i have bin told.some one correct me if ive bin miss informed.-billy
