Console temp sensor not working on Explorer

Hi,

My console outside air temp always reads 60C (140F).
Sounds like it coud be the temp sensor.
Where is the sensor located? Wire colours?
Could I remove the one on my 94 Limited and put it on the 97 Limited?

I am going off a 99 diagram.

The wires are darkblue/white and darkblue/yellow. The location is under the hood, driver's side front, in front of the radiator.

Thanks, I was able to find it this morning.
Removed the sensor and instead of it showing 60C it showed -40C so I knew I removed the right one.
I then went to my 94 Limited and removed it and put it on my 97.
It showed 9C. Sweet!

I wonder if that will fix this clicking sound I hear whenever I have the heat on.
It sounds almost like the AC compressor cycling on/off every 5 secs.
