i am a ford guy all the way and found this site while searching for tech info.
my favorites are mid 80's rangers and mustangs (v-6's & 5.0's) of which i have many of each (4x2 & 4x4).
my pet peeves are weak manual gearboxes and a lack of strong swaps (2.8 v-6 has a long input shaft) and i generally dislike autos in a daily driver/work vehicle.
