99 expedition stalls

my 99 expedition stalls when started and will run fine if you apply the throtle but stalls as soon as you remove throttle pressure any ideas?

probably a sticking closed iac motor.it controls the idle of the engine.also check for pcv vac. leaks to.

I agree,,,,,sounds like an Idle Air Control Valve. They seem to go at about 50,000 miles, so if yours lasted longer, consider yourself lucky. If I remember, about $45.00 and an easy job.
