Hello
I bought a 1973 econoline 200 with a 302 for my 1965 mercury. The engine has a rear sump oil pan. Will it fit in the engine comparment without hitting the prop. vavle for the disk brake on the cross member. Simply will the rear sump fit?

I say that it will fit, I have used rear sumps in these trucks many times,
although I have not used one from an econoline, as high as these engines
sit in the chassis I don't see a problem! I do know that the econo is
mid engine.
P.S with the rear sumps, when it's time for a oil change, it sure drains easy!
no puking on the front crossmember!
