That www.bcae1.com site has to be the best electronics theory site I've seen. He should win an award.
Anyway, another option for you guys might be to use a peltier on top of your heatsink. I've mostly seen them on RF amps and as temperature stablizers for crystal oscillator circuits, and have wondered why they haven't hit the audio market - other than they do draw a little current. Other than that, they have no moving parts, are silent, low profile and very easy to control, (the temp control circuit on the bcae1 site could be used.) Once you know what to look for, you can order them pretty cheap. Just another option. http://www.peltier-info.com/ (Click a link and scroll down, it's kind of odd how they set the site up.)
Even for an electrician I'm finding myself overwhelmed with the information. There is a lot of good info there and well worth sorting out. I imagine by the time I'm done with the site I'll have the rest of the truck finished.
Thanks guys
Mike
Oh BTW, it looks like I'm going to go with them behind the panels and run a fan or two depending on how the air flows. I think I can make a pretty much sealed panel with a couple baffles an inlet and outlet and still keep it pretty low profile.
I went in to pay the ticket and they told me that now you have to pay the ticket a week in advance.. new rule or something, since the last time I paid a ticket (a month earlier lol). And that night was going to be like the first night of a class that I couldn't miss (16 week class in 4 weeks, one night = 2 weeks lol) so I ended up paying for the ticket plus $30 for late fee, and I had an arrest warrant out for me for a day.. exciting.
