I finally replaced the MAF and O2 sensor on my 93 3L.
I still get a code for IAT.
Do you guys know if it's easier to access the IAT thru the service port, inside the car or outside?
Is it torqued up a lot? Or can i get it unscrewed with a vice script?
Could something else be causing this?
I keep on getting code 113 through out the trip, the CEL will come on...
Thanks guys.
On the 3.0L you can get to it from the front on the driver's side. Fairly reachable without any major problem. You might want to use a deep socket, since there is no room to grab it with a visegrip.
When you put it on, use a bit of thread sealant, not thread locker, and don't overtighten it. The throttle body is aluminum, and it won't take much to crack it. The nature of pipe threads is such that you WILL crack the throttle body if you overtighten this thing.
