2wd to 4wd

2wd to 4wd
I have a 1981 2wd ford and was wondering if i could put my 2wd body on a 4wd frame and if so what models. and how would i go about taking the body off. or could i put the 2wd body on a 4x4 bronco

Have you considered swapping drivetrains? Its a 100% bolt in with the same model, wb, trans, and year range (80-86 for you, I think). I converted my '92 to 4wd earlier this year and couldn't be happier with the results. Good luck either way though.
