Adding 4" blocks to CC LB

I have a 2002 F250 Crew Cab Long Bed V10 and I want to add the 350 blocks to the rear.
I have heard that on the cc lb's you have to change more than just the blocks and Ubolts.
Is the shim kit EoTZ-4A209-A required for the carrier bearing.
I have the camper package with rear stabilizer does any body know if I need to change the end links.
And finally are the shocks the same.

I have come up with the following part numbers if anybody can verify.
F81Z-5598-DA rear blocks

F81Z5705-EA Ubolts

N620485s441 Nuts

Thanks for any helps.

If you wanted to save some money I would look to pull some from a junk yard. Thats $100 just of blocks from Ford. The 350 blocks are about 3.75" tall I figure your shocks and links might be fine. Im not sure what the ford shim kit is, but you could cut some 2X3/8 or 1/4" strap drill holes for the carrier and install longer bolts. Drive it first if you notice a shudder ( probably wont) then go this route.

Im just cheap though.

4 inch blocks

I did the exact same thing to my 2001 F250 CC LB V10 about 3 weeks ago. I just went to a local Superduty supply place and took off the 4 inch blocks and u bolts that were on it and put them on mine. I didn't do anything else that your talking about and I've had no problems. I did it because I tow a fifth wheel and wanted the lift to level me out. I did learn there are three different kinds of blocks- 2 inch, 2 3/4 inch, and 4 inch. At first I just grabbed the 2 inch blocks and was going to stack them on top of mine but the ubolts on my F250 weren't long enough so I went back and got the longer ubolts and since I was using longer ubolts got the 4 inch blocks as well. I've heard that the longer bolts and 4 inch blocks can go for as much as $150 at the dealer. I got mine for around $25. If you can get hold of the longer ubolts and just want to stackem let me know and I'll give my old 2 inch blocks for dirt cheap. They do kind of interlock with a hole on one side and a nub on the other. Rick 517-445-2154

No change to the rear stabilizer bar and end links. Since you have a LB, nothing needed under the carrier bearing. Just make sure you get the longer u-bolts and torque them properly.

I have these parts in my garage. That is the correct PN for the rear blocks. I had a heck of a time getting the correct u-bolts though. Apparently Ford had gone to a generic PN on the U-bolts recently and the PN I have is N803770-S436. This is a package of 4 U-bolts that is correct for my 250 SB 4x4. I didn't get nuts or carrier bearing shim kit, so I can't comment.

BTW try and have your dealer price match some online places...that's what I did and I saved a significant amount over their prices.
