coolant temp sender

On my 94 explorer 4x4 how much antifreeze do I need to drain out to change the coolant temp sender? I also was wondering what I needed to do to get the air out of the system after the sender change? Thanks

Your Haynes manual will pobably tell you that if you quickly change the sender you wont lose enough coolant to worry about.

Make sure the engine is cold when you do it.
