Most late 66 and later heads have the smaller medium riser posts. A few exceptions are the CJ heads which have lowriser style ports and some 427 castings. As far as casting numbers go there are lots. Anything in paticular your looking for? And you do mean ports not chambers?

i'm not sure what i'm looking for, just had a thought.. it is the small ports i want, though i've heard that alot of those style heads had the small chambers also.. I want to see how the exhaust port is cast right where it exits into the header.. if it has the standard size lip there or hopefully no lip at all...

D2's, C4's,C6's,C3's,C2's all have the larger runner, and with Some light porting will really start to come alive!! and with max effort Port work !! will out flow Aluminum Edelbrocks out of the box....My C4's at .600" lift flow 295 Int. and 204 Exh... But that Full Port and Big Valve's... I have about $900 in them...

whats this lip you are talking about? The only thing that i had noticed on my d2te, is on the top of the port, that the exit is lower than mid point. I wanted to open the top of the port more, but with the gaskets and headers i couldn't. Is this the lip you are talking about? I don't recalled the floor having a lip, but they all have the curve on the port floor. DF, told me not to mess with that, i removed a SLIGHT amount of material and shaped it anyways.

no... it's the outside of the turn when the port hits the headers... when you look at the head from the side, if you look at say the far left port- it would be the right hand side of that port... the last set i did i couldnt get that out...
