overhead console question

overhead console question
I have a 98 expy XL with the overhead console but no compass or temperature display. Bought another entire console on Ebay just to get the compass and temperature display.
I was hoping it would be a "plug and play" replacement but guess what? That's right , no harness / hook up for compass temperature display in my truck.
Any suggestions on where I might get that harness, and degree of difficulty to install?
If the answer is as I suspect.....anyone want to buy a almost new overhead console (grey)with compass and temperature display? Probably be easier to buy a new truck!
But anyway , if any one knows...you guys will! Thanks
