Lightbulb Steering Shaft Help

97 F150- I Am Turning It Into A Trail Runner. Stripped The Dash And All Interior But I Need Help With The Stock Steering Shaft. I Am Trying To Convert It To A Simple Wheel On Shaft Setup Like An Old Bronco. But The Stock Shaft Is Large Bulky And Has The Provisions For Signal/wiper Cam As Well As Cruse Control And Air Bag And Steering Locks. I Just Want A Steering Setup With No Accesories If Anyone Can Help Please Give Me Some Advice. I Am Thinking About Building My Own Setup But If There Is A Rig I Can Use Off Another Vehicle I'de Rather Pull It Out Of A Junk Yard, Than Fabricate.

with all the gizmo's and gadgets on the newer models, ide either try going with an older model steering shaft and doing the mods to make it work. Ive seen somewhere that you can get steering shafts aftermarket, but not sure on there fit and there price. Ide do the build your own setup/ modifiying(junkyard piece), probably cheaper that route, as long as you have to tools to get er done. Good luck
