06 psd

I just bought a 2006 F-350 Power stroke short bed with the 5 speed torque shift tranny. Any problems or issues reported yet on the 06?

Outside of an occassional oil leak (like rear main seal), the '05's and '06's seem to do pretty well. Congrats on your truck! You will love it.

I just purchased my truck last monday.

I was going to by a used truck but decided to get an 06, so glad I did rides like a dream. But today with 1003 miles had towed to dealer cranks but won't start.
other than that I love it tows my toy hauler much better than my last truck.

Welcome to FTE Shamrock. Haven't read of any recurring problems on the '06. Maybe a few isolated incidents. Just drive and enjoy, read here to get ideas on things to check, but don't get paranoid...These are great running trucks. Again, welcome to FTE.
