Smile Installed Wicked Wheel

I installed my wicked wheel tonight, what a sweet sound! The Walker BTM goes on tomorrow. Should make a big difference. The Wicked Wheel sounds great, but the stock exhaust is so restrictive. Already have 6637 filter, next comes gauges and tuner! BTW, thanks to Johnny8 for the "turbo on" wicked wheel install instructions! Install took right at 2 hours, easier than I thought it would be. Gave me a chance to clean things up a bit under the hood.

Congrats!! I just installed mine last weekend, and I haven't turned the radio on since.

I also did mine on the truck, but took alittle longer. I removed the exhaust side of the turbo and held it with a rag and removed the old wheel with 3/8 impact.
I just couldn't bring myself to jam a screwdriver in there.
W/W AWSOME BY THE WAY!!

If I ever sell my truck, the radio will be in new condition, I would rather listen to a turbo any day. The sound from a WW is awesome.

Walker BTM Installed!

I had the Walker BTM installed today. Makes a big difference over stock and with the Wicked Wheel and 46637 filter, it makes some good sound. It does seem to have a good bit of flutter (I think) sound. Don't notice it much until I open the back windows, especially if I am in close proximity to other cars, walls etc. that sound can bounce off. Hope this is normal, from other posts I think it is.

I ordered ISSPro gauges today and will order Predator programmer also. Got to spread the wealth around by ordering from 3 site sponsors!

I'm with ya there, I've had my truck for 6 months or so and I've learned a bunch already. You guys are a great help, as I learn more I hope to be able to pass some knowledge to others. BTW, I ordered my DP tuner today! I'm not sure yet how I'll break it to the wife. Maybe I'll use the old fuel milage excuse and it will tow better and..., well you know the drill!

Yeah thats true. I tell my wife it is to prolong the life of the truck and due to the altitude we live at 6000' it must be done. Next is evans coolant. I can't handle the thought of taking care of the green coolant and cavititian is still possible. Of course the money I spend is a secret.

These secrets are getting tough to keep. I can hide the tuner (not the grin on my face) but I think she may notice the gauges. I'm gonna hit the "prolong the life of the truck" thing pretty hard. The bad thing is she knows how I am, usually just have to come clean at just the right moment... timing is everything!

Maybe your hood will get damaged somehow , then you will have to have a replacement. Bet it's only a "little" more for that hood.
