Stinkin dome light....
Dome light on 96 xlt stays on along with the back-up chime music. Any body with a suggestion I would appreciate, while Im at it the wipers dont work in delay mode at times.

I was oblivious to the WD40 method and foolishly completed the circuit with no switch so my doors would always read 'closed.' My brother had the truck before and was not electrically inclined to say the least, so he had the fuse pulled. That's another temporary option, but I would opt for the WD40.

WD-40 it, plain and simple. Most people just do it every time the oil gets changed. Keps the latch free and working good. Add it to your regular maintenance schedule. Spray and open/close the door a few times.
