Shift Arm Removal From Tranny
That's the answer I was hoping for because I really didn't want to have to drop the tranny again. Well, I guess it's a good time to change out the goods in the pan now to. Well, I'll let you know how it goes. It will probably be about a week before I get back to my garage to do this. But thanks for the help.
Later
I ran into yet, another problem. That helped alot for one thing, but I have headers on there off of a '80 ford pickup that was in the salvage yard a.k.a. "Toy Store" and they fit perfect. But the shift arm won't slide all the way into place because the header is in the way. So The next time I get to the garage to work on it, I was thinking about cutting the flange off and a section off of the end and weld the flange or the rest of the pipe back up to it. But the arm is there with the little pin in it and everything except not all the way under the little geared arm in there. I just need to move the arm down like a quarter inch, but the header is there. It's always something that's keepin me from driving my pickup back home with me. Can't wait for the day to come. I appreciate the help though. Thanks bud.
