finally restoring it....
well,
me and my dad bought a 1979 F-100 with the intentions of restoring it to it's former glory...only problem was i couldnt resist driving the thing so we never got to it until i bought another truck last week. ok, now to the actual question.....the transmission needs new seals, so i figure this is my first stop on the way to rebuilding it, right? how hard is this? also is lifting the truck necessary for taking the tranny out? its a C-4. thanks.
