can someone tell me how much Tranny fluid(type F) that i need
when i do a filter change in my 78 crewcab 4x4 c6 trans?

yep you will need 13 .about 8 for the t/c and 5 for the pan and lines.

What ever you do dont overfill it like I did cause you'll blow the front seal. I knew better but i got lazy and didnt check as carefully as I should'a. That lead to pulling the engine, trans and got me into a runaway project if you know what i mean.

If it's just a filter change you should pick up 5 quarts -- it'll take about 4 1/2.
